When a developer in the boutique hospitality business wanted to know the market potential for a European-style, high-end hotel in Cleveland, he turned to Richardson Design to conduct exploratory research along with creating some initial branding and a mark for the concept.
Valore means strength, value, worth, and is derived from the French term, valour. Richardson recognized an opportunity for an exquisite, experience-based boutique hotel in Northeast Ohio, especially given the region’s renaissance and rise as destination and home to those seeking a chic place to stay. So, we embarked on Phase I of Hotel Valore branding and design with naming. That included logo studies, graphic design efforts and developing a final mark. We created mood boards and visuals to illustrate how the mark would be brought to life through service touchpoints, from the room key to tableware and associates’ uniforms.
Hotel Valore is a concept in the making—a development that will evolve and take shape in the future. When our team is involved in initial brand development and graphic design efforts, we can capture the aesthetic and ensure branding consistency during development.
